Let's Go Places on the Recruiting Trail: Kelvin Joseph, Scotlandville DB

Kelvin Joseph, a talented defensive back from Scotland Ville High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has been making waves in the high school football scene. In 2016, his team had a remarkable season, going 13-1 and making it to the Louisiana state championship game. Although they fell short in the final, Joseph's impressive performance as a defensive back was evident throughout the season. He recorded 72 tackles and five interceptions, three of which he returned for touchdowns. Joseph's goal for this season is to help his team make a return to the state championship game and come out victorious. Regardless of whether he plays cornerback or safety, Joseph consistently shuts down his part of the field, leaving opposing teams struggling to make plays. Growing up in Baton Rouge, it's no surprise that Joseph has a strong affinity for LSU. He initially committed to the Tigers, but has since reopened his recruitment and is considering other top programs such as Alabama, Florida State, and Clemson. With his eyes set on another successful season, Joseph aims to contribute significantly to his team's success. His exceptional skills as a defensive back make him a formidable force on the field. Additionally, he has caught the attention of several college football programs, including Alabama, Florida State, and Clemson, as he weighs his options for the next level of his football journey.
