Xavier Sabb | WR/CB | Glassboro HS (NJ) | Oregon Commit

October 20, 2026
Glassboro, NJ two-way star Xavier Sabb earned NJ Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior and committed to Oregon after back-to-back state titles.

Twenty miles outside Philadelphia, Glassboro, New Jersey has quietly built one of the more impressive athletic resumes of any small borough in the state — Olympians, NFL players, and now Xavier Sabb. The two-way standout at Glassboro High School was named the New Jersey Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior, becoming one of the few underclassmen to claim the honor in a state loaded with talent.

As a receiver, Sabb caught 59 passes for 897 yards and 13 touchdowns last season. He also lined up at cornerback and contributed two touchdowns on special teams — a workload that his head coach and uncle, Timothy Breaker, describes simply: "He does it all." Over the past two seasons, Sabb has been a central figure in Glassboro's 27-0 record and back-to-back state championships, playing alongside a core group of teammates he's known since childhood.

Football isn't the only arena where Sabb has excelled. He's a 1,000-point scorer on the basketball court and has run in the 10.5-second range in the 100 meters, helping Glassboro win a state track title. His coach calls him the best athlete to come through the program.

The family football pedigree runs deep. Sabb's older brother Keon is a starting safety at the University of Alabama, and his brother Amari is entering his freshman year in Tuscaloosa. Despite the pull of the SEC, Sabb chose to forge his own path, committing to the University of Oregon. His stated goals are direct: win a national championship, reach the NFL, and make the Hall of Fame.
