Former Cleveland Browns Quarterback Bernie Kosar Honored for High School Days

Ohio produces quarterbacks, and Youngstown produced Bernie Kosar. The former Cleveland Browns star developed his fundamentals at Boardman High School before winning a national championship at Miami and playing over a decade in the NFL. His 2023 featured remarkable anniversaries: 40 years since the 1983 Miami title and 30 years since his Super Bowl ring with the Dallas Cowboys.

The National High School Football Hall of Fame honored Kosar in its inaugural class, recognizing where his journey began. Canton's location made the ceremony especially meaningful for the Ohio native.
