Haloti Ngata: Journey to the College Football Hall of Fame

Discover Haloti Ngata's inspiring journey from high school standout to the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame and a Super Bowl champion with the Ravens.

Only a fraction of a percent of college football players earn induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. Haloti Ngata is now among them, officially enshrined in the Class of 2025 after an All-American career at Oregon and 13 NFL seasons that included a Super Bowl ring with the 2012 Baltimore Ravens.

Ngata's path started at Highland High School in Salt Lake City, where he was a five-star recruit coached by his uncle. He credits his father's work ethic as a foundational influence. Now retired, Ngata mentors young athletes with a simple philosophy: good is the enemy of great—never settle, in sports or in life.
