Mary Neal is Embracing Her Role as a Senior Leader for Walton Volleyball

Meet Mary Neal, the senior leader for the Walton Lady Raiders, a dominant volleyball team in Georgia. With an impressive record of 15 state championships since 1998, including a national title in 2017, the Walton program is a force to be reckoned with. Mary's passion for volleyball started when a neighbor introduced her to the sport through a camp, and she quickly rose to become one of the program's standout players. Recently named the Georgia 7A Player of the Year as a junior, Mary's talent has attracted attention from college programs, leading her to commit verbally to Mississippi State. Despite her incredible achievements, Mary remains humble and shares the credit for her success with her team and coaches, acknowledging the importance of their hard work and support. Not only is Mary a dedicated athlete, but she also excels academically, works part-time, and is a skilled cellist in the school orchestra. Her impressive work ethic and ability to balance various commitments make her a remarkable individual both on and off the volleyball court.
