Let's Go Places on the Recruiting Trail: Trevor Lawrence, Cartersville QB
July 21, 2018
Trevor Lawrence, the top quarterback prospect in the 2018 class, rewrote Georgia high school records at Cartersville.
Trevor Lawrence established himself as a generational quarterback prospect at Cartersville High School in Georgia. The 6-foot-6 signal caller compiled a 52-2 record as a starter, never losing a regular season game while leading his team to two state championships.
Lawrence's 13,988 career passing yards broke the state record previously held by Deshaun Watson. His two Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year awards and US Army National Player of the Year honor cemented his status as the nation's top recruit before signing with Clemson.
