Journey to Greatness: Lamar Jackson - Baltimore Ravens

January 11, 2019
Lamar Jackson went from under-recruited high school prospect to Heisman winner to Baltimore Ravens starting quarterback.

Lamar Jackson wasn't supposed to become an NFL quarterback. Coming out of high school, he was under-recruited. At Louisville, scouts questioned whether his style would translate to the pros. The Baltimore Ravens took a chance in the first round of the 2018 draft.

Jackson silenced the doubters by taking over as starter and leading the Ravens to the playoffs as a rookie. His journey from overlooked prospect to franchise quarterback proves that evaluation isn't everything. Some players simply find ways to win.
