Journey to Greatness: Evan Longoria

Evan Longoria received no Division I scholarship offers out of St. John Bosco High School in California. He attended Rio Hondo Community College, flourished under coach Mike Salazar, and transferred to Long Beach State.

That unconventional path led to the Tampa Bay Rays and an All-Star career at third base. Longoria's journey demonstrates that the traditional recruiting process doesn't determine ultimate success. Hard work and belief matter more than early recognition.
