Smith Hunter is a 17-year-old soccer player from Seattle with aspirations of playing for the U.S. Women's National Team and winning a World Cup. She trains with Reign Academy, the development program associated with Reign FC of the NWSL, which provides exposure to U.S. national youth team coaches.

Sam Laity, Director of Coaching for Reign Academy who works with players like Megan Rapinoe and Allie Long, has praised Smith's competitive spirit, athleticism, and commitment to improvement. Her sister August provides family support as Smith pursues her soccer dreams. She plans to continue her career at Harvard while maintaining her goal of reaching the international stage.
