Oakland University Basketball Coach Greg Kampe Grateful for His Time in High School Football

Successful college basketball coaches do not always have basketball backgrounds. Greg Kampe, the longtime Oakland University head coach, built his competitive foundation playing football at Defiance High School in Ohio. His prep gridiron career earned recognition from the National High School Football Hall of Fame, honoring the athletic excellence that preceded his decades of success on the basketball court.
