Let's Go Places on the Recruiting Trail: Patrick Joyner, South Dade LB

Patrick Joyner recorded 56 tackles and 18 sacks as a junior at South Dade High School, earning all-state honors. At 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, he could rush the passer from the edge or drop into coverage as an outside linebacker.

After transferring from Keys Gate Charter, Joyner found his fit at South Dade. Miami and Florida expressed interest, but Joyner committed to Florida State, choosing the Seminoles over the in-state rivals.
