Let's Go Places on the Recruiting Trail: Kellen Mond, IMG Academy QB

Kellen Mond left Texas for IMG Academy to prepare for SEC competition at Texas A&M.

Kellen Mond threw for 3,700 yards and 46 touchdowns with just 8 interceptions in his first two seasons at San Antonio Reagan High School. Rather than stay in Texas for his senior year, he made a business decision: join IMG Academy in Florida to face national competition.

At IMG, Mond competed alongside and against elite recruits daily, preparing for the SEC. His dual-threat ability—both passing from the pocket and running when needed—gave him flexibility in any system. He committed to Texas A&M, returning home to the Lone Star State for college.
