Javonte Smart has become the face of Louisiana high school basketball at Scotlandville Magnet High School in Baton Rouge. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound senior guard led the Hornets to multiple state championships and established himself as one of the nation's elite point guards.

Smart's leadership extends beyond his scoring ability. His court awareness and basketball IQ make him a complete floor general. Proud of his Louisiana roots, Smart committed to stay home and play for the LSU Tigers, where he aims to bring the same championship success he achieved in high school.
