Marcus Smart's path to the NBA began with a fresh start. After losing his oldest brother and struggling with anger management, he moved to Flower Mound, Texas, in eighth grade. There he befriended Phil Forte and found stability. Smart won Texas Gatorade Player of the Year twice at Flower Mound Marcus, leading the team to two state championships while losing just six games in three varsity seasons. Now with the Boston Celtics, he channels his journey into basketball camps that inspire the next generation.
