Small-town prospects often get overlooked. Jason Bargy made sure that wouldn't happen. At 6-foot-4 and 255 pounds, the Momence, Illinois defensive end had the size and speed that translate to major college football—and the track times to prove it as a sprinter.

Adopted and relocated to Momence as a child, Bargy fell in love with the close-knit community and chose to stay rather than transfer to a larger program. He committed to Minnesota, where his combination of athleticism and character would contribute to the Golden Gophers' defensive line.
