GG Jackson Will Add a Lot of Excitement to South Carolina Basketball This Season

GG Jackson made headlines by reclassifying from the 2023 class to 2022, enrolling early at South Carolina to begin his college career. The Columbia, South Carolina native chose to stay home and play for the Gamecocks after being ranked as the top overall prospect in his original class.

Jackson won South Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year and led Ridgeview High School to the Class 5A state championship, averaging 22 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocks per game. He also earned a gold medal with USA Basketball at the FIBA Americas U18 Championship.
