Shane Morris: Highly-Ranked Quarterback Bound for University of Michigan

Shane Morris committed to Michigan as one of the top-ranked quarterbacks in the 2013 class. The Warren, Michigan native threw for nearly 1,700 yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior, with plans to run a more pass-oriented offense during his senior season.

Morris immediately became a recruiter himself, working to convince high school teammates to join him in Ann Arbor. He believed in coach Brady Hoke's vision and saw Michigan's loaded recruiting class as the foundation for something special. Playing for his home-state program added personal meaning to the commitment.
