Ryan Burns: Rising High School Quarterback Prodigy from Jackson Hole

July 21, 2018
Ryan Burns moved from Jackson Hole, Wyoming to Virginia to find better football competition, earning his first scholarship offer from Boston College.

Ryan Burns had limited football opportunities in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, so he moved across the country to Ashburn, Virginia. At Stone Bridge High School, his physical tools and skill set attracted college recruiters who had never seen him play.

Boston College offered first. A shoulder injury created a setback, but Burns maintained a 3.95 GPA while recovering, demonstrating the discipline that would serve him at the next level. Stone Bridge's switch to a spread offense opened up opportunities to showcase his abilities even further.
