Bo Jackson was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before famously signing with the Kansas City Royals and later the Los Angeles Raiders.
Bo Jackson remains the gold standard for two-sport excellence after starring in both Major League Baseball and the NFL. The Auburn legend won the Heisman Trophy in 1985 before being selected first overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1986.
A dispute over his baseball eligibility led Jackson to pursue MLB first, signing with the Kansas City Royals. He later joined the Los Angeles Raiders in 1987, becoming a phenomenon in both sports. His unique combination of power and speed made him one of the most electrifying athletes in American sports history.
