Emmitt Smith, the NFL's all-time leading rusher with 18,355 career yards, played his college football at the University of Florida. During his three seasons with the Gators from 1987 to 1989, Smith earned multiple All-SEC selections and was named an All-American in his final year.
Smith left Florida as the school's all-time leading rusher before being selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1990 NFL Draft.
