Orlando Pace - Legend of the Game - Interview
July 21, 2018
Hall of Famer Orlando Pace reflects on his career from Ohio State dominance to Super Bowl champion with the St. Louis Rams.
Orlando Pace finished fourth in the 1996 Heisman voting, a remarkable achievement for an offensive lineman. His dominance at Ohio State popularized the term pancake block and made him the obvious first overall pick in the 1997 NFL Draft.
The St. Louis Rams built their Greatest Show on Turf offense around Pace's left tackle protection. He helped Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk, and Isaac Bruce reach two Super Bowls, winning one. His 2016 Hall of Fame induction honored a career that proved small-town kids from Sandusky, Ohio, can reach the highest levels.
