The MVLA Lightning, a soccer club based in Northern California, is home to a remarkable group of young female soccer players. Jay Wassier, Sarah Robinson, Paige Crowley, Gabrielle Matlinch, and Zoey Pack have achieved great success, winning championships at both state and national levels. They attribute their accomplishments to their incredible teamwork and impressive ball control skills, which are instilled in them by their coaches, Aaron Montoya and Albertine. Their hard work has paid off as all five players have gained experience with the USA youth national teams. Their ultimate aspiration is to represent the United States in the World Cup or Olympics, but for now, their immediate focus is on college. Paige will be attending Notre Dame, Gabrielle is headed to UCLA, and Jay, Sarah, and Zoey will be teammates at Stanford.
