Max Browne: Rising High School Quarterback Star Heads to USC
July 21, 2018
Max Browne threw for over 8,000 yards and 95 touchdowns at Skyline High School in Washington before committing to USC's quarterback tradition.
8,000 yards. 95 touchdowns. A state championship. Max Browne compiled those numbers at Skyline High School in Sammamish, Washington, earning a five-star rating and a commitment to USC.
Browne possessed the prototype frame, arm strength, and decision-making that NFL scouts look for in quarterbacks. He chose USC despite criticism from Washington Huskies fans, drawn to a program that produced Matt Leinart and Mark Sanchez. His family supported him through an intense recruiting process, helping him stay focused on the goal of following that lineage to the next level.
