Mallory Pugh - Mountain Vista, USA Soccer Forward

July 21, 2018
Mallory Pugh was named Gatorade National Player of the Year as a junior and earned a call-up to the U.S. Women's National Team while still in high school.

Twenty-four goals and 12 assists in 19 games earned Mallory Pugh the Gatorade National Player of the Year award as a junior at Mountain Vista High School in Colorado. The honor, presented by World Cup champion Brandi Chastain, recognized Pugh as the top high school soccer player in America.

But Pugh's trajectory extends beyond high school accolades. She started for the USA Under-20 team and received a call-up to the senior national team, scoring in her debut against Ireland. At just 17 years old, she has committed to UCLA while continuing to push for a permanent roster spot with the full national team.
