PJ Washington left Dallas for Findlay Prep in Las Vegas, seeking elite competition before college. His senior year became a family affair when his brother joined the team and his father took over as head coach.

At 6-foot-8, Washington could score inside and handle the ball on the perimeter. He represented USA Basketball, earned McDonald's All-American honors, and signed with Kentucky to continue his development.
