A 6-foot-6 left-handed pitcher with a dominant fastball, Jason Groome has established himself as one of the premier high school baseball prospects in America. After a standout sophomore season at Barnegat High School in New Jersey, he spent his junior year at IMG Academy in Florida, posting a 5-0 record with a 1.22 ERA and 81 strikeouts in 43 innings.
