Jamel Toney-Black is a Multi-Sport Athlete from Woodrow Wilson High School in Texas
April 14, 2023
Jamel Toney-Black broke Woodrow Wilson's receiving record before signing with Southwestern College.
At 5-foot-7, Jamel Toney-Black wasn't supposed to break long-standing records. The Woodrow Wilson High School receiver did it anyway, catching 66 passes for 1,069 yards and six touchdowns as a senior in Dallas—shattering the school's receiving yardage mark.
Toney-Black's speed and route-running from the slot neutralize his size disadvantage. He also contributed to the basketball team before committing to Southwestern College in Kansas for football.
