East Lake High School Football - Highlights/Interviews

July 21, 2018
East Lake High School in Florida featured three college commits chasing the program's first state title in 2013.

No team from Pinellas County had ever won a state football championship. East Lake hoped to change that in 2013 with three Division I commits leading the charge. Wide receiver George Campbell (Michigan) posted 674 yards as a sophomore, while senior Tay Scott (Clemson) led the team with 997 yards and ten touchdowns. Offensive tackle Mason Cole, a Michigan commit at 6-5 and 280 pounds, dominated in the trenches. Together they formed one of Florida's most talented offensive units.
