Derek Culver - Warren G. Harding Forward - Interview

Derek Culver did not take basketball seriously until seventh grade. By his sophomore year at Warren G. Harding High School in Ohio, he was averaging double-digit points and rebounds while standing 6-foot-10 with a seven-foot wingspan.

Culver's late development translated into rapid improvement once he committed to the sport. He can pass, dribble, shoot, and block shots, making him the top recruit in West Virginia's 2017 class and a versatile weapon for the Mountaineers.
