Although Al's father tragically passed away when he was just a toddler, his uncles have played a significant role in keeping his father's memory alive. Al's passion for football has been evident from a young age, and he has been actively playing the sport ever since. After completing his sophomore season, Al made the decision to transfer to St. Thomas Aquinas, where he found a supportive and nurturing program that has contributed to his growth as both a player and an individual. He has earned recognition as one of the top 100 players in the 2018 class and has even been invited to participate in the prestigious Under Armour All-American game.
