Zander Brown Update - Baseball

July 21, 2018
Zander Brown followed his father's athletic footsteps from Frisco, Texas, to junior college baseball.

Zander Brown's father Phil was a running back at Texas who rushed for 2,100 yards over four seasons. That athletic pedigree shows in Zander's powerful swing at the plate. The 6-foot-3, 255-pound slugger draws comparisons to Miguel Cabrera for his hitting approach.

After starring at Frisco Liberty High School in the fast-growing Dallas suburb, Brown signed to continue his baseball career at New Mexico Junior College. He worked to become a more mobile player while maintaining the bat speed that scouts noticed.
