Zander Brown - Frisco Liberty Baseball - Interview
July 21, 2018
Zander Brown is a power-hitting first baseman at Frisco Liberty in Texas whose father played football for the Longhorns.
Zander Brown, a 6-foot-3, 255-pound junior at Frisco Liberty High School in Texas, has become known for his exceptional power at the plate. His batting practice sessions are legendary, with coaches restricting him to hitting toward center and right field to preserve baseballs.
Brown's father Phil, a former running back at the University of Texas, now serves as an assistant principal at the school. After a knee injury ended his football aspirations, Zander committed fully to baseball. His home run production has drawn comparisons to Miguel Cabrera.
