Track Star Nicole Wells of Sumter, SC, is Garnering College Interest

Nicole Wells of Sumter High School in South Carolina has established herself as one of the top track athletes in the state. As a junior, she qualified for Nike Indoor Nationals in three events: the 60 meters, 200 meters, and 400 meters. She emerged as the champion in the 200 meters with an impressive time of 24.77 seconds.

Wells also excels in the long jump and 100-meter dash. Her versatility has caught the attention of college programs across the country, including a Division I offer from Appalachian State University. She enters her senior season looking to build on her breakthrough performances.
