Ray Guy - NFL Legend

Ray Guy, a legendary punter for the Oakland Raiders, was finally inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014, after a long wait of 28 years. Despite the delay, Guy remains humble and grateful for the honor, as he had the backing of former players and coaches who believed in his worthiness of the induction. Being supported by his coaches, family, and friends made the wait even more special for Guy. Not only is he a Hall of Famer, but Guy also made history as the first punter to be selected in the first round of the NFL draft in 1973. He seamlessly transitioned from college to the NFL, feeling at home with the Raiders organization due to their similar culture and camaraderie.
