Hakeem Olajuwon blocked 3,830 shots during his 18-year NBA career, primarily with the Houston Rockets. Known as "The Dream," his footwork and timing made him one of the most dominant defenders in league history.
Olajuwon won two NBA championships, two Finals MVP awards, and two Defensive Player of the Year honors. Dikembe Mutombo ranks second on the all-time blocks list, but Olajuwon's total—combined with his offensive brilliance—sets him apart as the most complete center of his generation.
