Question of the Day: NBA Scoring Titles
January 29, 2021
Michael Jordan won 10 NBA scoring titles—more than any other player in league history.
Michael Jordan led the NBA in scoring 10 times between 1987 and 1998, a record that still stands. His title streak was interrupted only by his first retirement to play baseball; when he returned, he resumed leading the league.
Wilt Chamberlain ranks second with seven scoring crowns. Kevin Durant, the active leader, has four and continues to add to his total. Jordan's combination of volume scoring and efficiency across multiple championship runs set a standard that may never be matched.
