Question of the Day: Colleges with Number One NBA Draft Picks

Duke has produced four number one overall NBA Draft picks, more than any other college.
Duke leads all colleges with four number one overall picks in the NBA Draft. Zion Williamson (2019), Kyrie Irving (2011), Elton Brand (1999), and Art Heyman (1963) all went first overall after playing for the Blue Devils.
Kentucky ranks second with three top picks. The rivalry between these two programs extends beyond the court and into the draft, where both have consistently produced players worthy of the highest selection. Duke's tradition under Coach K has made it a pipeline for NBA talent at every position.
