Michael Porter, Jr - Nathan Hale Forward - Highlights/Interview

Meet Michael Porter Jr., a rising star in the world of high school basketball. With a family deeply rooted in the sport, it's no surprise that basketball runs through his veins. Both of his parents played college basketball, and even his mom had a professional career. Michael Jr. is the third oldest of eight children, all of whom share a love for hoops. Growing up in Columbia, Missouri, he had the privilege of watching his two older sisters play for the University of Missouri, where his dad used to be an assistant coach. But this summer, his dad was offered an assistant coaching position with the Washington men's team, prompting a move to Seattle. Now, Michael Jr. is gearing up for his senior season at Nathan Hale High School, where he'll be coached by none other than former NBA star Brandon Roy. The opportunity to be mentored by an NBA all-star has Michael Jr. ecstatic, as he knows it will propel his skills to the next level. With three younger brothers following his lead, the Porter family's basketball dynasty is only getting stronger.
