He threw for over 3,100 yards and 37 touchdowns while also rushing for over 700 yards and nine scores, leading his team to their first state title since 2005. Cristian Kirk, hailing from Saguaro High School in Arizona, made his mark by setting a state record with an impressive 103 career touchdowns. His contributions were crucial in securing the SaberCats' second consecutive state championship. Jake Brown, representing Folsom High School in California, had an incredible career, breaking the national high school record for career touchdown passes. He also won his second Gatorade Player of the Year award, solidifying his position as one of the top high school quarterbacks. However, our National Player of the Year is Colin Murray from the Dallas area. Colin has become a household name in Texas high school football, leading his team to three consecutive state championships.
