Kevin Love: Rising Basketball Star from Minnesota Timberwolves

Kevin Love grew up around basketball. His father played in the NBA, and Love inherited both the genes and the work ethic. Standing 6-foot-10, he developed into a dominant post player through his high school and AAU career in Portland, Oregon.

Love believed in outworking opponents, a mentality instilled early. By the time he reached the Minnesota Timberwolves, he had refined his rebounding and interior scoring to elite levels. His uncle Mike Love, lead singer of the Beach Boys, provided family support from a different world, but Kevin's focus remained on one thing: becoming the best player he could be.
