Josh Green represents the growing pipeline of Australian basketball talent with NBA potential. Both of his parents played professionally, instilling a deep passion for the game despite basketball being less popular than rugby in Australia. Green moved to the United States four years ago, settling in Phoenix where he developed into a high-level prospect.

Green transferred to IMG Academy in 2017 to prepare for college competition against elite national talent. He signed with the Arizona Wildcats, joining a highly ranked recruiting class that includes his close friend and teammate Nico Mannion.
