Jordyn Jackson's Basketball Journey | She's Next

January 9, 2026
Jordyn Jackson turned the COVID-19 lockdown into a training opportunity and emerged as one of the top guards in the DMV area.

When COVID-19 shut everything down, Jordyn Jackson kept working. The Washington D.C. area guard used the lockdown to train intensively, and her game transformed. By the time play resumed, she had elevated from promising to elite.

Jackson credits her sister for inspiring her to pursue basketball. Now at St. James Academy, she trains in world-class facilities under high-level coaching. Her dynamic scoring ability earned a scholarship to Maryland, where she will stay close to home while competing in the Big Ten.
