Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax, Virginia, is home to one of the nation's top basketball programs. With a history of success in the highly competitive Washington Catholic Athletic Conference, the Panthers have consistently excelled, with multiple championships and four consecutive 21-seasons. This success is credited largely to Coach Varello, who has instilled a sense of pride and responsibility in the players to carry on the tradition. One standout player who attributes his development to Coach Varello is senior Frank Howard. Despite a setback due to a torn ACL that caused him to miss his entire junior season, Howard has used his recovery time to improve his overall game. With his versatility in scoring and play-making, Howard is a valuable asset on the court. He will continue his basketball career at Syracuse University, where he hopes to build on his success and make a significant impact.
