July 21, 2018
De La Salle continued its storied football tradition with senior Devin Asiasi emerging as a top 2016 two-way prospect.
De La Salle High School in Concord, California, maintained its reputation as one of the nation's most storied football programs despite a narrow 26-21 road loss to Euless Trinity in Texas. Head coach Justin Alumbaugh used challenging non-conference games to strengthen team bonds and prepare for state competition.
Senior Devin Asiasi stood out as one of the top prospects in the 2016 class, excelling as both a tight end and defensive end. His two-way ability and physical presence made him a key piece in De La Salle's pursuit of another state championship and potential return to the national title conversation.
