Daniel Wright's older brother Major was an All-American at St. Thomas Aquinas who went on to play in the NFL. Now Daniel is carving his own path at Boyd Anderson High School in Florida, establishing himself as one of the top defensive backs in the 2017 class.

Wright's versatility allows him to excel at multiple positions, but his instincts as a free safety stand out. He credits his mother for keeping him focused and humble despite the recruiting attention. A track athlete and strong student with plans to study sports medicine, Wright has committed to Florida State.
