Austin Allen: Rising High School Football Star and Gatorade Arkansas Player

Austin Allen grew up as a coach's kid, and it showed. His ability to read defenses and his arm strength earned him the 2012 Gatorade Arkansas Player of the Year award. He threw for over 3,400 yards while leading his team to the Arkansas 7A state championship.

Allen followed his brother to Arkansas, where SEC defenses awaited. He knew what was coming: Alabama's linebackers, LSU's secondary, the best athletes in college football. The coach's kid was ready to prove he belonged.
