Frisco Wakeland golfer Luke Colton is chasing a historic third Texas state title, looking to join legends Jordan Spieth and Scottie Scheffler.
Luke Colton, a standout golfer from Frisco Wakeland High School, is on the verge of Texas high school golf history. Having already secured two individual state championships, Luke is aiming for a third title this spring. If successful, he would join an elite group that includes major champions Jordan Spieth and Scottie Scheffler as the only players since 1979 to achieve the three-peat. Originally from Illinois, Luke moved to Texas and honed his skills under coach Andrew Lewis. Beyond the high school scene, he has represented the United States on the Junior National Team and helped capture the Junior Ryder Cup. Known for his strong mental game and exceptional short game, Luke has committed to play collegiate golf at Vanderbilt University.
